DAY / DATE Saturday 12th July 2014.
ENTRY FEE £25.00 (£15.00 if supplying own Boat & Crew)
CLOSING DATE Thursday 12th June 2014
AGE LIMITS: Juniors 13 years to less than 17 years in the year of the swim.
Seniors 17 years and over in the year of the swim.
DATE OF SWIM: Saturday 12th July 2014 at 15.00 hours.
CLOSING DATE: Thursday 12th June 2014.
ENTRY FEE: £25.00 (£15.00 if supplying own Boat & Crew).
DISTANCE: 2 Miles – Crossing the river twice.
PARKING: Free parking is available at the YEAABA pier Broughty Ferry.
BRIEFING: On the day at YEAABA Clubhouse, Broughty Ferry at 14.30 hours prompt.
START: On the starters/referees instruction, swimmers should promptly access the water via the harbour slipway or ladder and form a line across the harbour mouth. Start will be by loud hailer.
COURSE: This is a point-to-point, double-crossing of the river across the tide-ways, from Broughty Ferry Harbour, to touch and turn at the river-facing wall west of Tayport Harbour entrance and return to Broughty Ferry Harbour. The line will be as straight as the currents and your ability permits. Please follow your boat at all times.
FINISH: By touching the river-facing wall of the YEAABA pier. N.B. A swimmer finishing, but missing the “touch” due to tidal conditions will be accorded a certificate but no official time or place in the race.
PRESENTATION: Will be at the YEAABA clubhouse on completion of the swim.

In addition to the annual awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each category will be awarded a unique
‘Ian D. McIntosh Medal’ in Gold, Silver or Bronze.
All finishers will receive a personalized certificate.
