Junior - 13 to 16 years in year of swim.

Senior - 17 years and over in year of swim.

Briefing Briefing will take place on the day at the Drummond Fishery car park at 11:30 prompt. The briefing will take place outdoors so please ensure you bring warm clothing.
Start On the starters/referees instruction, swimmers should promptly access the water at the Drummond fishery and form a line in the water. Start will be via loud hailer or whistle.
Course This is a point-to-point self-navigated return crossing of Loch Earn. Swimmers will swim in a straight line across the Loch before returning to the start point. This swim will be run under SASA and FINA rules.
Finish Swimmers will finish by touching the orange buoy at the starting point of the swim, at the Drummond Fishery.
Costumes Only traditional (must not extend beyond the end of the shoulder onto the upper arm and lower than the crotch onto the upper leg) swimming costumes/trunks will be permitted. NO WETSUITS, NO BODYSUITS. Two swimming cap may be worn. Costumes shall be in keeping with SASA regulations.
Presentation Presentation will be held at the Drummond Fisheries following the completion of the swim. The following Categories will be awarded:

 

Junior Girls Championship
Charles C. Gall Trophy
Senior Ladies Championship
Ian D. McIntosh Trophy
Junior Boys Championship
James Moffat Trophy
Senior Gents Championship
Ron Mackie Trophy

 

In addition to the annual awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each category will be awarded a
medal in Gold, Silver or Bronze. All finishers will receive a personalized certificate.
